Living in Fort Lauderdale, also referred to as the Venice of the Americas due to its canals and boating life, it is not uncommon to dine by simply docking your boat in our outstanding restaurants.  That is how I was introduced to Kaluz several years ago.  Very good friends invited me to go to dinner and we went in their boat.  I instantly felt in love with their contemporary look and feel, and it became, without a doubt, one of my favorite spots.  Nothing more delightful than one of their mojitos by the water.

I reached out to see what I could do to help them during these unprecedented times and below is the message they want me to share with the community.

Like so many, I have held countless meetings at our amazing restaurants in Fort Lauderdale.

Working in the downtown area, it was with so much excitement that I saw Del Frisco's Grille open.  Witnessing the remodeling of the space and then the grandiose, fun, light, and welcoming restaurant it turned out to be, was a treat to so many.  I cannot imagine what challenging times they are going through now, especially the amazing, caring, funny and always warm staff that enhanced the wonderful meals and overall experience.

I reached out to see what I could do to help them and below is the message they want me to share with the community.

During this trying time, we want to thank our healthcare warriors while supporting small, local businesses as well. Placing bulk orders with local restaurants is a great way to support our community and the selfless frontline healthcare teams.  We have coordinated with the hospitals directly to adhere to their guidelines, so please don't drop off food individually. Together we are one in the fight against COVID-19.
